Riley Buford Brewing

It all started with a “for us” anniversary gift.

Jared bought us a home-brewing kit for an anniversary gift last year and we dived headfirst into another hobby that we both knew nothing about. We started off with some home brewing kits from Northern Brewer - and we kicked off our home-brewing experience with an Amber Ale. For our first beer, it turned out to be pretty good! We then expanded into a Winter Ale as we were moving into late November and that’s where the idea for labels began.

I was at the Dollar Tree getting dog toys for Riley and I spotted these cute winter prop glasses and I thought “That could work as a theme for our Winter Ale”. It then quickly evolved from there into Riley being our appointed dog model and the name Riley Buford Brewing was born!

As we have spent the last year learning and enjoying the process of brewing our own beer we have continued on with the Riley Buford Brewing labels…with a comical touch. Riley has been a good sport throughout the process and it sure is such a treat to have him included in our brewing process.

Next up, we have a Scottish Ale that is almost ready to be bottled and I am entertaining the idea of putting Riley in a kilt. Stay tuned!
